Kaylee McKeown breaks swimming world record, using father's death as motivation

(CBC News) Swimmer Kaylee McKeown set the 100-metre backstroke world record on Sunday at the Australian Olympic trials, posting a time of 57.45 seconds to improve on the previous mark of 57.57 set by American Regan Smith in 2019.
